Millennium Falcon
Special characteristics: The Millennium Falcon is said to be the fastest ship in the galaxy. It’s the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs! Originally a YT-1300 light freighter, the ship has been modified and tinkered with by many of its owners, including Lando Calrissian, a gambler and smuggler, who lost it to Han Solo, also a smuggler and gambler (turned famous rebel) in a game of “Sabacc.” Even though the Millennium Falcon does have a few decades under its belt, it’s still the vessel every starship pilot in the galaxy wants to be in command of.

Special characteristics: Has hyperdrive and astromech droid co-pilot. Four laser cannons and two proton torpedo launchers. Gets its name from the S-foils that resemble the letter X in attack formation. There are two dozen different types of X-wings. This was the ship that Luke Skywalker flew when he destroyed the Death Star.

Super Star Destroyer
Special characteristics: Shaped like an arrowhead, with a habitable island in the middle. 13 engine thrusters. Several different sizes exist. The 19km long vessel is one of the largest Imperial ships ever built. Darth Vader’s command ship “Executor” was a Super Star Destroyer.

TIE Fighter
Special characteristics: Single-pilot vessels carried aboard Star Destroyers and BattleStations. Basis for other TIE vessels, including the TIE Interceptor, TIE bomber, and Darth Vader’s own TIE Advanced x1.
Famous for: The sound of its engine, a roar or scream that sends enemies’ hearts to their throats.

Imperial Shuttle
Special characteristics: Multi-purpose transport vessel for both cargo and passengers, equipped with hyperdrive. One stationary center foil, two articulated flanking wings. Side wing folds out for stability in flight. Wings fold in during landing. Two forward-facing double laser cannons, two wing-mounted double cannons, and a rear-facing double laser cannon. This lambda-class shuttle was used by Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.

Mon Calamari MC80 Home One Star Cruiser
Special characteristics: The Mon Calamari – a humanoid, aquatic species – converted this passenger ship into a star cruiser. It lacks hard angles to resemble the look of an organic sculpture. It is equipped with turbolasers, ion cannons, tractor beam projectors and shield generators. Admiral Ackbar commanded an MC80 Home One, which was also the Rebel Alliance’s headquarters, in the decisive battle of Endor.
