Where to eat Kobe beef outside of Japan

Here are a few places to try Kobe beef without flying to Japan.

In June 2014, Japanese farmers exported their first shipment of beef to the European Union after a longtime ban on Japanese beef was lifted. “Kobe beef” sold in Europe during the preceding decade was very likely not Kobe beef. Even today, few restaurants offer the delicacy due to scarce supply – only around 300 Kobe cattle are earmarked for export.
